BROWARD COUNTY wants to secede from health care reform. Rick Perry, that born again Texas secessionist, said the same thing recently, as democraticunderground rushes to report. I'll have to write up an article about the absurdity of a giant federal government that already has quadrupled or more health care prices and stifled innovation, It now wants to take over the whole system - stealthily and
sneakily, of course. Just one more reason to secede from the feds.

SECEDING FROM EUROPEAN UNION: Lots of English, Scottish, Welsh are ready; Ireland is barely in. Here's a columnist who uses the "unionist" phrase Britain as being the entity that should secede from the EU.

 ROUGH & READY WANTS TO SECEDE AGAIN: The California town seceded for three months in 1850. For the second time residents are threatening it. But this time the issue is removal of the US Post Office. Rough & Ready folks haven't figured out that secession is about freedom, not squeezing out more federal benefits paid from people from other parts of the country!
