Matt Cropp

Matt is fascinated by all things co-op, and is particularly enamored with the history of the credit union movement, which he studied in grad school. His interest in human scale organization and the anti-war movement led him to become a supporter of Vermont's political independence, and he's of the general opinion that any polity with more than a million citizens is bad news bears. When not scraping by as a freelance writer, Matt enjoys snowshoeing, good beer, and taking on more volunteer responsibilities than he can possibly handle. He lives in Burlington with his partner and an oft-neglected houseplant.
